Greetings sou'westers, I would like to get in contact with some descendants of Leive Nickerson or his daughter Tabatha Newell of Clarks Harbour. I have aquired a piece of family history a few years ago and would like to place it in the hands of one of their descendants. From what I can guess they were Baptist and the heirloom ( circa 1875 approx. ) would be a great gift to a fellow believer in the faith. Considering the age, it is in pretty good condition. I would like it to find some one who would apprechiate it as I have for a number of years. My maternal descendants go back to Barrington Passage via the Kenny line of Heman Kenny. Hello, Just been looking at some property online in Clark's Harbour and am curious to learn more about the area. I am considering this as a retirement property, but not quite of that age yet, so until such time would either look to rent it out year round or as a seasonal rental, but not sure what the rental market is like in the area. I do have friends who live in Nova Scotia, so they've offered to assist us in this matter, but don't want to take advantage of their generousity, so wondered if realtors or property management companies are in the area to handle this type of service.
